Which Golf Sportsvan headlamp does this bracket fit?
This reference is for the pictured 2019–2020 mid/low-trim headlamp. The high-trim adaptive bracket is different and is not interchangeable.
Is a decoder required?
Yes. Article 1100 specifies the second-generation Volkswagen decoder for this application.
How should a high-power projector be powered?
Use a separate harness and take power from the decoder input side marked IN, not from its output side.
Can the factory projector shroud be retained?
Yes, but the source specifies a square projector when the factory shroud is retained.
Can a round projector be installed?
A round projector may be used only with a separately selected decorative shroud because the factory shroud is intended for a square projector.
